Challenge

A housing for thingdust’s sensors: modular, with base and lid that can be assembled without tools.

Solution

A metal disc is screwed to the ceiling or wall, and the housing holds magnetically. We tested the feel of fine structures and the snap-fit of the lid with high-resolution SLA prints.

Result

The injection-moulded parts met expectations first time – no changes to the injection moulds were needed.
