Challenge
On conventional necks, the headstock is either glued on (visible glue joint) or milled from solid wood – in which case the grain runs across the angle and creates a weak point.
Solution
The maple is pre-bent at the angle and only then milled to shape. The grain runs continuously from the neck into the headstock.
Result
A highly break-resistant neck without a glue joint and 60 % less material use.
